Community Photography Exhibit

Appalachian Arts Center is pleased to announce an exhibition of photographs taken by local residents based on the theme of "Loving Life." Over 120 works created by more than 30 entrants in the catagories of portrait, landscape, nature, still life, and documentary are on display.

A reception will be held on Saturday, October 26 from 2:00-4:00 pm at which time awards will be given in each of the five catagories. Each category will have a “best of the category” winner, and an honorable mention winner. Each of the best of category winners will be awarded a monetary prize of $50.00. Prize money has been donated by Brainerd Gallery, The Emporium frame shop, and Appalachian Arts Center.
