2012 Arts Invitational & Holiday Showcase

Appalachian Arts Center will be hosting it's Second Annual Arts Invitational during November and December. The works will include pottery, jewelry, scarves, paintings, photography, fiber art, turned wood and beveled glass pieces with dried flowers. The Center is excited to have these new works by Sidra Kaluszka, Becky White Boothe, Nadya Warthen-Gibson, Bill and Tina Collison, Josh Manning, Joanne Bell, Patsy Phillips, and Aislinn Lowry. In addition, the Center has new inventory for the holidays from a number of it's artisans.

Sponsored by Gene and Martha Hurst, the exhibition opens in November and will run through December 23rd, 2012. A reception will be held on Saturday, December 8th from 2-4pm. The public is invited to stop by and chat with the artists. Also, local authors will be at the Center signing copies of their books. The reception is free and light refreshments will be served.
