Jim Green has an amazing collection of woodturnings here at the Appalachian Arts and Events Center. His works include platters, bowls, vases, pens and more. All of his pieces are made at his workshop in Russell County, Virginia.

Jim uses several types of wood in his pieces, such as spalted maple, cherry, birch, ash and walnut. He lets the individual pieces of wood guide him to their final form. All of his items are true works of art.
